Red Diamond names Mike Mehrotra away-from-home senior vice president
The former EY Parthenon adviser brings CPG and food service strategy experience as the family-owned beverage company marks 120 years.
Red Diamond Coffee & Tea has named Mike Mehrotra senior vice president of the company’s Away From Home division.
In the role, Mehrotra will focus on expanding sales and market share through food service distributors, convenience stores and national chain accounts while overseeing strategic operations, the company said in a Tuesday press release.
“We are pleased to have Mike join us during this milestone year in our organization’s history,” William A. Bowron III, executive vice president at Red Diamond, said. “His strategic vision, operational discipline and deep commitment to building strong relationships with our partners make him the ideal leader to elevate our business.”
Red Diamond said Mehrotra brings experience in strategy, operations and business growth, as well as eight years of service in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
Most recently, Mehrotra worked for EY-Parthenon, where he advised Fortune 250 executives on mergers and acquisitions and helped design and implement operating models aimed at creating sustainable value across the consumer packaged goods and away-from-home sectors.
